I was pleased to be selected by Accor to photograph their new hotel in Hobart.
The Movenpick brand represents understated luxury. The photography requirements were very specific and it was a pleasure to have online meetings with the brand team in Paris.
The shoot took several days to cover all aspects of the hotel, from rooms to exteriors and food.

I photographed the Coal River shop in Hobart just before it opened earlier this year.
The build was done by Luke de Vries at CWD. Great style and workmanship as usual.
Over the last 6 months I have been documenting projects to build an image library for Energy Solutions in Hobart.
Their website is now launched and here are my favourite images.
The hero image below was shot on a very cold but beautiful morning. The sky was perfect and we were lucky to pick up the blue colour present in their logo. The bitumen required a lot of retouching to get rid of skid marks, etc.

I had to use ambient light and the result turned out quite well.

I spent a couple of days at Rathmore in the Tasmanian highlands to create an image library for this new accommodation offering near Bothwell.
I loved exploring the property, in particular the shearers’ shed which felt like a time capsule with a strong smell 🙂
I photographed this beautiful kitchen and bathroom near Hobart for Valentine Interiors + Design and KAM Joinery earlier this year.
The KAM team has just won the Renovation/Addition Under $200,000 category at the 2018 Master Builders Tasmania Awards for Excellence. The award recognises exceptional craftsmanship, commitment to building excellence and upholding the professional standards of Master Builders members.
The attention to detail is on another level for this kitchen and bathroom renovation.
Stay tuned for more awards… 😉
